Add references and improve Wikipedia
, Belinda Spry.

1Lib1Ref stands for "one librarian, one reference". You can be part of a campaign for library staff around the world to add missing references to articles on Wikipedia.

As part of 1Lib1Ref 2023, Wikimedia Australia is holding an online training session to get you started editing Wikipedia. Join us the morning of Thursday 1 June, as we show you how to edit and explore Wikipedia. Then, you'll be able to add a reference to improve a Wikipedia article of your choosing!

This is a free session with no bookings required. Full details and Zoom link here.

Timezones:

  • 8:30 am to 10:00am (Perth)
  • 10:00 am to 11:30am (Adelaide / Darwin)
  • 10:30 am to 12:00pm (Melbourne / Sydney / Canberra / Brisbane / Hobart)

Join us to make a real impact on open knowledge, network with other librarians, gain new skills and have some fun along the way!

If attending for professional development, please contact Wikimedia Australia following the event to be provided with a certificate of participation.

We'll see you online on 1 June!
