The following is an account of the results for the Wikimedia Australia committee election in November 2012.
Officers positions
As only two candidates stood for each of the officer's positions, there was no need to redistribute votes. Accordingly, the following only includes first preference votes for each position.
President

Nine candidates stood for the two Ordinary Member positions:

Three candidates, Craig Franklin, Charles Gregory and Graham Pearce, had also stood for Officer's positions, and were elected. Votes for these three candidates were removed and redistributed according to preferences. After redistribution, the distribution of votes was:

Result
Using the election software, the two winners were Kerry Raymond and Steven Zhang.
For confirmation, additional counts were run using OpenSTV and all viable counting methods: in all cases the final results were the same as with the election software.
Conclusion
Elected members were:
- President: John Vandenberg
- Vice President: Graham Pearce
- Secretary: Charles Gregory
- Treasurer: Craig Franklin
- Ordinary Members: Kerry Raymond and Steven Zhang
