Wikimedia Australia meats a lot to me. If elected, I will work hard to ensure that it remains a viable organisation into the future.

The last year has been a tough year. We have faced a number of organisational, financial and personal challenges. Not all of these have yet been resolved, but with hard work and good will, I believe that solutions will be found.

Wikimedia Australia means a lot to me. If elected, I will work hard to ensure that it remains a viable organisation into the future.

We have to obtain secure funding. We cannot continue without this.

We have to maintain and develop the links we have established with other organisations.

We have to expand our outreach and our membership base.

Whether elected or not, I intend to work with the rest of you advance these these goals.

As a bit of background about myself, I have four higher degrees: a PhD, and MA, and MBA and a BSc. The MBA will be particularly useful here. As a military historian, I have written a chapter for a recently-released book. I normally work though as an IT professional for a Silicon Valley-based dot com. I am a prolific article writer on Wikipedia, with over 15 Featured Articles, 134 (yes 134) Good Articles and 117 DYK articles to my credit.
