In 2013, we will budget for at least two townhall meetings for every state and territory, where one must be a regional location (as defined by our [[proposal:regional workshop program]]), and for four townhall meetings to be held in nearby countries without their own Wikimedia chapter, being Oceania, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Timor-Leste.<br />

Sydney and Melbourne may have up to three townhall meetings, however they must be in different parts of the cities.<br />

== Application process ==<br />
The community of Wikimedia contributors who reside in the city/town/suburb must submit a bid to the Wikimedia Australia committee. The application must include<br />
* two residents of the city/town/suburb that have been "highly-active editors" on a Wikimedia project for two months of the previous year. <br />
* a selected venue with price quotation<br />
* a communication plan<br />
