Global edit-a-thon

We should integrate the global WWI edit-a-thon date Saturday 29 June 2013 into the process, e.g. requiring host institutions and WiRs to host an edit-a-thon on either 28 or 29 June. John Vandenberg 13:57, 23 February 2013 (EST)

Title for 0.2 FTE institution person

Hi all. At the public meeting in Sydney on the 7th April, we discussed potential titles for the 0.2 FTE role hosted by the institution. This could be a staff member, or in absence of this a volunteer. The suggested titles are:

  • GLAM support person
  • Host support
  • In-house Wikimedian
  • Host liaison
  • GLAM ambassador.

What do you all think? Do you have any other suggestions? Steven Zhang 12:35, 7 April 2013 (EST)

Rewrite to allow variable size

The funding for expenses, etc is currently $5,000 from WMAU and $5,000 from host. We think the host should define the total project cost in their brief, and each party will contribute 50%. This allows the host to commit to the size they are comfortable with. John Vandenberg 12:39, 7 April 2013 (EST)
