Wiki loves Earth

Hi from Ukraine! I wrote about this to the mailing list yesterday, you may respond either here or there (or both): you guys were planning to run Wiki Loves Earth: Commons:Wiki Loves Earth 2015 in Australia but you haven't started it on May 1st. Did you face any problems? Are you going to start it a bit later? Any help is needed? Looking forward for the answer, --Base (talk) 23:54, 2 May 2015 (AEST)

Any chance on getting some documentation on how this new event system works

@Kerry: Yes, sorry for not communicating and documenting things better (I'm still working on the next step of much easier editing of events here). Basically, it should be a matter of entering a new event's title in the input box, and then filling in the infobox-style {{event}} template. The timezone stuff is probably the biggest tricky thing, because we need to enter all times as UTC timezone so that we can display in the different Australian timezones and sort events correctly. What error were you getting (you mentioned in your edit summary that it rejected your attempt)? —Sam Wilson (talk) 11:10, 22 October 2018 (AEDT)
