Incorporation meeting held

A special meeting was held to approve the incorporation of Wikimedia Australia in Victoria. Also approved was the draft rules, the statement of purposes, appoint Brian Salter-Duke as Public Officer, and to affirm the Interim Committee. (April 20)

Approval from Foundation

The Wikimedia Foundation's Board of Trustees has approved Wikimedia Australia as a formal Wikimedia Chapter, on the reccomendation of the Chapters Committee.
