The Record: Melbourne Music Week Edit-a-thon

to AEDT
Australian musicians are missing from Wikipedia. In Melbourne Music Week let's do something about it. Learn, edit and help write the record.
Wikimedia Australia and the Australia Council for the Arts present 'The Record - Australian Music on Wikipedia', a new initiative that aims to grow the low number of Wikipedia articles about Australian musicians, organisations and publications over the next six months.

In partnership with the Australian Music Vault, come and learn to edit the pages of your favourite artists.

Wikipedia is one of the most popular websites in the world written by an international community of volunteer editors. When you search something online, Wikipedia is often the top result, with information boxes on Google sourced from its pages. Let's work together to improve the visibility of Australian Music.

No experience required! Just bring a laptop or device and sign up for a Wikipedia account in advance.
