Hi, my name is Andrew Owens.
I'm based in Perth and am most active on English Wikipedia, although I also participate at Commons and Wikisource. I hope to be able to help out in WA especially with the education sector where I have an interest.
As of 19 September 2010, I have been elected for a second term as a General Member of the Wikimedia Australia Committee. Prior to the 2010 AGM, I wrote a candidate statement which sums up both what I see as the issues facing us and what needs to be done about them.
