Wikimedia Indonesia hosted the very successful and inaugural East, Southeast Asia, and Pacific Conference held in Bali during 5-6 May, with the objective of promoting collaboration with regional Wikimedia affiliates and capacity building. Some of the WMF sessions were also the same from the Wikimedia Conference in Berlin but with a tighter time set-aside for the sessions. However ESEAP allows for better networking with neighbouring affiliates and feedback on programmes and events other affiliates have had.
