This is also the Australian contribution to the wider 1000 Women in Religion Project which aims to raise up the unrecognised work of important women in religion and to help address the gender bias on platforms like Wikipedia. Lists of relevant subjects and associated resources will be provided prior to event, including suggested articles for creation and Wikipedia stub articles that require improvement. | |||
As we look ahead to the edit-a-thon(s) you might like to take a look at the Wikipedia Article Guide and the AWR List available on this page. Please give some thought to women that you might like to write about. There are 576 women currently listed, with those shaded in blue already having a Wikipedia page. | |||
