Wikidata Fellowships close this Sunday!

Got an idea for a Wikidata project? Whether it’s big or small, you should apply for our Wikidata Fellowships. Wikimedia Australia and Wikimedia Aotearoa New Zealand are offering three fellowships of $1,000. Applications close Sunday 26 February. For more information and examples of previous projects, see our Wikidata Fellowships page.

The Record: How culturally diverse communities are using Wikipedia

Earlier this month, we hosted an online series of presentations showing how different cultures are preparing their histories for a digital space and using Wikimedia projects. This special event was open to First Nations organisations to show examples on how they could contribute to Wikimedia projects and take part in an open discussion. The recording is now available to watch online.
