AEDT
Get involved in the Women in Religion project.
The Women in Religion project is a collaborative initiative of the University of Divinity.

The University is taking a lead role in coordinating an Australian contribution to the wider 1000 Women in Religion Project which aims to raise up the unrecognised work of important women in religion and to help address the gender bias on platforms like Wikipedia. Only about 18% of biographical articles on Wikipedia are about women.

The University of Divinity project group has compiled a list of over 500 Women in Religion from both Australia and New Zealand. A Wikipedia Article Guide and a Bibliography of Authoritative Sources have also been created and these documents will be updated as the project progresses.

No experience required. Beginners welcome!

The Women in Religion group meets twice monthly. The fourth Wednesday of the month is open to new interested people and beginners.
