Announcing WikiCon 2023 Brisbane
WikiCon 2023 will be held in Brisbane on 18 November 2023!
We invite anyone interested in open knowledge and meeting fellow Wikimedians to join us for an exciting program covering all things Wiki.
Everyone is welcome, from beginners to experts, as we cover some of the latest developments, tools and projects that our Australian community are undertaking on Wikipedia, Wikidata, WikiCommons, WikiSource and other Wiki platforms.

Idea for a session or workshop?
Do you want to present your work or project, or run a workshop? There are a range of session styles and times, and we are open to suggestions for your needs (eg, code-a-thon, demonstration, video link-up).

Travel sponsorships
To support our community to attend, travel sponsorships for domestic travel are available. Sponsorship places are limited and the maximum amount WMAU will provide for domestic travel is also limited and is designed to assist your attendance at this event. It may not be able to cover all associated costs. If you can, please consider covering your own costs.
Travel sponsorship applications are open until 29 September. Please apply here and we will advise successful applicants in early October.
