Geelong’s musicians are missing from Wikipedia. Let's do something about it!
Geelong’s musicians are missing from Wikipedia. As part of Surrounds Sound, learn to edit Wikipedia and help write the Australian music record.

Wikipedia is one of the most popular websites in the world written by an international community of volunteer editors. When you search something online, Wikipedia is often the top result, with information boxes on Google sourced from its pages.

No experience required! Just bring a laptop or device and sign up for a Wikipedia account in advance.

This edit-a-thon is presented by Surround Sounds, Australian Music Vault and Wikimedia Australia with founding partner Australia Council for the Arts. It forms part The Record - Australian Music on Wikipedia, a new initiative that aims to grow the low number of Wikipedia articles about Australian musicians, organisations and publications.
