Open for climate justice

Wikimedia Australia is a member of Open Access Australasia and excited to be sharing in this year's Open Access Week events on the theme 'Open for climate justice'. Events will be held online, and include a panel on Wikimedia collaborations for climate research knowledge sharing.

Beginning Tuesday 25 October, and running until Friday 28. This year's Open Access Week will end with a special discussion titled 'Wikimedia collaborations for climate research knowledge sharing'.

Wikipedia, Wikidata and other Wikimedia platforms are a major source of open knowledge on climate change and environmental issues. The accuracy of this information is therefore highly impactful. Join us for a discussion of how teamwork self-organises within these projects and how research and outreach collaborations are formed with the the broader knowledge ecosystem.
