:Not sure; perhaps some ''types'' of monuments. But I wonder whether regional towns have monuments such as town halls (some of them magnificent), court houses, railway stations. And would a register of Indigenous places be admissible? I don't know whether such a register exists, but I suspect the "monuments wouldn't all be in cities. ::The Townsville regional council has [http://www.townsville.qld.gov.au/townsville/heritage/Pages/heritagedatabase.aspx 1223 items in their local heritage register], so I imagine someone in Townsville would be kept busy! The quality and accessibility of local registers seems to vary wildly though, Moreton Bay (where I spent a lot of time growing up) doesn't seem to have their local one online at all. YMMV I suppose. - The Townsville regional council has 1223 items in their local heritage register, so I imagine someone in Townsville would be kept busy!
