    In this one hour workshop, staff from Wikimedia Australia will show you how to edit Wikipedia, and why it is so important, so you can join a global movement of contributors from around the world. You'll learn how to edit a Wikipedia page, add references, add an image, and create your User Page. No experience is necessary, just sign up for a Wikipedia account ahead of time so you can follow along.

    Workshops will be held the first Wednesday of the month, and are followed by an open drop-in session where anyone can ask questions no matter how big or small.

    Following our 'Introducing: Wikipedia' workshop, we're hosting an online drop in session open to everyone to ask questions, share your work, or just hang out and edit Wikipedia together. Drop in using the Zoom link.

    All attendees are also expected to understand and abide by the Universal Code of Conduct for the Wikimedia Movement and Wikimedia Australia Safe Space Policy.

    While attending and remaining anonymous is supported by the group, lurking is not supported and will be actively discouraged. All attendees are expected to use their Username as an identifier on the video conference call and to introduce themselves and their interest in joining the call on the chat channel of the call as a minimum. Participation using video and/or voice in addition to chat is encouraged but not required.
