A Wiki minute

The Wikimedia Foundation has introduced 'Wiki Minute', a series of short explainer videos designed to make the world of Wikimedia more accessible to everyone. These videos aim to connect a diverse range of communities worldwide while shedding light on the broader Wikimedia movement, which encompasses much more than just Wikipedia.
Currently, there are sixteen videos tackling important questions like "How does Wikipedia work?" and "Can you really trust what's on Wikipedia?" With straightforward and engaging explanations, these videos are designed to help viewers move from a basic understanding of Wikipedia to a more comprehensive grasp of the entire Wikimedia ecosystem.

This initiative seeks to inspire people worldwide not only to use Wikipedia but also to contribute to it and promote it within their communities. Please reach out to Wikimedia Australia if you would like to organise more in-depth training on Wikipedia or other sister projects, are interested in partnering with us or have any questions!
