Summary
DescriptionThorny Devil. Shark Bay, Cape Peron, Francis Peron National Park.jpg
English: The Thorny Devil lives in the Great Western Desert of Australia surviving on a diet of ants. This placid and shy lizard is a true survivor. standing in a puddle and using capillary action it draws water up to its mouth via its skin allowing it to drink and still we watchful for predators. The beautiful colouring blends in with the environment and the thorns are there for show.
