Introducing Commons Catch Up: a monthly drop-in for Wikimedia Commons
Commons Catch Up is a relaxed online drop-in session for anyone keen to work on — and chat about — Wikimedia Commons, the free media repository that supplies the images, audio and video behind Wikipedia.
Maybe you're uploading your first photos and want a hand. Maybe you're deep in categories, sorting and tidying. Maybe you're wrestling with licensing, or you're simply curious about how Commons works behind the scenes. Whatever you're working on, this is the place to bring it.
Share your projects, ask your questions, or just come along to see what others are up to.
There's no experience required and nothing to prepare. First-timers and seasoned contributors are equally welcome, and you're free to drop in for ten minutes or stay the whole session.
Commons Catch Up runs on the second Thursday of every month for 90 minutes.
