La Trobe University staff have long supported Wikimedia Australia activities.

Between 2013-2015, La Trobe University partnered with Wikimedia Australia on a number of Wikipedia training days across Australia. These included partnerships with Bendigo Community Health Services, Gold Coast Libraries, and LaTrobe Oral Health.

In 2018, staff at the university launched Shut up and Wiki, an informal community to devote time to editing, writing, and developing Wiki resources. Read more here
