does anyone have any idea as to the feasibility of producing a map with shaded areas indicating the areas this proposal is intending to cover - obviously the 1hr and 2hr limits are intended to be guidelines (we mean by car, right?) - anywhoo it'd be nice to see, even vaguely, where we think the boundaries lie. I spend some time in the northern rivers area (nr. lismore) - you'd get to the Gold Coast in a couple of hours, so the whole area is currently out of scope for this proposal - are we perhaps being mildly over restrictive? cheers, Privatemusings 21:22, 16 November 2010 (EST) | does anyone have any idea as to the feasibility of producing a map with shaded areas indicating the areas this proposal is intending to cover - obviously the 1hr and 2hr limits are intended to be guidelines (we mean by car, right?) - anywhoo it'd be nice to see, even vaguely, where we think the boundaries lie. :A map would be lovely. :File:Australia location map.svg is a good basis. John Vandenberg 21:46, 16 November 2010 (EST) | :A map would be lovely. :In the current definition, Lismore would be out, but Casino would is OK. Also going down the coast a bit further towards Grafton would do the trick. John Vandenberg 13:51, 17 November 2010 (EST) | |||
:The 'Gold Coast-Tweed Heads' and 'Sunshine Coast' entries in that Wikipedia page are a problem as they are not a single population centre. Maybe we could make an exception for those two, requiring that the host town be 1.5 kms away from a central point in each of those areas; that should allow Lismore to be a host town (if you drive slowly).
