About meHi, I'm Steve. I'm based in Melbourne and I mainly edit the English Wikipedia. I've been a member of Wikimedia Australia since July 2011, and on the committee of management from November 2012 to October 2016, serving as it's president for the 2013-2014 and 2014-15 term. I was then appointed to a vacant position as an ordinary member of the management committee for the 2015-2016 period. I also serve on the Wikimedia Foundation Individual Engagement Grants committee. |
My workAs a member of the management committee, it was my job to provide oversight and governance for the organisation. I also liaised with our parent organization (the Wikimedia Foundation) on certain matters on behalf of the chapter. |
