All contributions to Wikimedia Australia until 4 September 2011 were considered to be released under the GNU Free Documentation License 1.2.
On 4 September, the decision of contributors to re-licence their contributions to Creative Commons Sharealike 3.0 Unported was enacted. Content pages which could not be migrated were tagged as GFDL, or deleted.
All contributions from 4 September 2011 to Wikimedia Australia are considered to be released under the Creative Commons Sharealike 3.0 Unported licence.
