Freopedia
Freopedia was a wikitown project that took place between about 2012 and 2016 in Fremantle, Western Australia. It was a join project between Wikimedia Australia and the Fremantle Society, with help from the City of Fremantle, Fremantle BID, Fremantle Port Authority, and others. In 2024 it was turned into a wiki in its own right (for details, see the Freopedia page on Freopedia).
Domain name
Garry Gillard (who runs https://fremantlestuff.info https://freotopia.org) registered freopedia.org and 2021 he asked us if we wanted it. It was transferred to WMAU in 2022 and costs us about $30/year. It operated as a simple redirect to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiTown/Freopedia until 2024.
