'members only participation, however non-member participation can also be tested on it ' - I'm not sure what this means! - I think it's suggested that initially only members will be permitted to participate, but that it's possible, without a further formal proposal, non members will be also be able to participate. ? what next

The test wiki was approved by the committee and has been set up, and can be linked to using prefix "wmautest:" (e.g. wmautest:Main Page). There hasn't been any plans for how "Any member can .." will be controlled. Do we want 'crats? I'm automatically a crat, however we could make all sysops have 'crat privileges. and/or should we set up mw:Extension:ConfirmAccount so members can request an account over there rather than here?
