Celebrate Wikipedia's 23rd birthday with us

On January 15, 2001, Wikipedia was established and first edited! This year Wikipedia Day is an occasion to celebrate Wikipedia's 23rd birthday.

Let's gather around the table and share a birthday morning tea and slice of birthday cake together - tag us with a photo of your morning tea on social media and use the hashtag #wikipediaday2024, or upload to Wikimedia Commons.

We'd also love to hear your thoughts about what you achieved on Wikipedia in 2023, and what you'll be working on in 2024.
