Nominations for the 2026 Craig Franklin Award are open.
Ahead of our Annual General Meeting in September, nominations are open for the 2026 Craig Franklin Award. The award recognises an individual, project or program that has made a positive impact on the Wikimedia movement in Australia over the past year.
It honours Craig Franklin, a founding member of Wikimedia Australia and a tireless advocate for community-led Wikimedia projects.
Who can you nominate?
We welcome nominations for:
- an individual — for example a tireless editor, organiser or volunteer;
- a project or program that made a difference; or
- a partnership or group effort.
Nominations on behalf of a group, and self-nominations, are equally welcome.
